Deskjet F380 All in one printer/scanner I'm having problems using my Scanner A message ' An error occurred communciating with the scanning device' The following is what I have tried, 1 Deleting software and reinstalling software. 2 Printer will scan using manual button on Printer 3 I am able to print documents 4 I have downloaded a patch but this did not fix the problem 5 Tried using printer faxes/Scanners and cameras to add device but only options were for HP Digital camera, no scanner option came up. 6 Also update software to latest edition. 7 Was on HP site and told to check BIN file for certain files which were their.

Was able to open Scanner software but still got an error and could not scan. 8 Using the scanner diagnostic utility the following errors came up Registry error I am using Windows XP Is it a problem with a setting on the computer The registry is giving an error 019 code. Could a setting in XP be the problem. Well guys, im actually using a MS vista notebook and having the same problem with the HP F380 AIO printer.

I can perform print and copy but i was unable to scan using the HP solution center. It comes the error message. Impressora Hp Deskjet 2050 Windows 8. I can print and scan. This is the only printer which i installed in this notebook since i just got this notebook a week ago. I tried installing the drivers. The installation was clean. I can print but i cant scan the same error msg keeps poppin up. Canon 1dx Raw File on this page.

Im not so much of a computer person so pls advice. Already asked HP tech support, the only advice they can give me is install the driver again or find the 3rd party help to resolve this matter. Pls mail me any helpful information regarding this problem.
