I just found an easy fix from a guy on line with a blog. He's at curtiscarmichael.com He laid it out and it worked perfectly. Basically what you do is go to HP's website and download the drivers for Windows XP. You'll want to download 'HP LaserJet 1000 Printing Software Solution'.
