Hewlett Packard Laserjet 6p Printer Driver
Both my HP printers LaserJet 6p and 2100M were discoverable and ran fine when I upgraded my two Dell Optiplex 755 computers to Windows 10. They both have LPT ports and LPT cables. When the Windows 10 computers were updated just this week to Version 1511 OS Build 10586 they both stopped recognizing the LPT port. I removed printers through the Control Panel Devices and Printers function. When I search for printers to reinstall the printers are not found. Service Manual Canon Sd600 Digital Elph.

And will print Self Test/Configuration test when both buttons are pressed. This all leads me to believe that the latest wondows 10 update has caused a problem with the computer LPT/Parallel port. What do you think? Hello, here is a temporary workaround that I: • Update your printer's driver (let Windows and Device Manager search for updates). There will hardly be anything for the Laserjet 6P but you may never know:) • Go to Device Manager, open your parallel port's properties, choose port properties and check 'Do not try to use interrupt' (it is the first option) and tick 'Enable legacy Plug and Play detection'. • Get DevCon.EXE from • Write a small script with the following contents: @echo off cd /d%~dp0 devcon disable *PNP0401 devcon enable *PNP0401 • Put the script together with DevCon.Exe in one folder.
• Create a scheduled task which executes this script on system start and/or user logon. Let the script be executed under the SYSTEM account there. At least my good old LaserJet 6P now works again like a charm:) See also: Kind regards, DAC324. Canon Lbp 3200 Driver For Windows 7 64 Bit Free Download.
