Canon Eos 630 Manual
I have a Canon EOS 600 (European version of the 630). I like the sturdy build, and the fact that it is quite big, a lot chunkier than my 400D/Xti. Adjustment Program Epson L130.

Fast frame rate (5 fps if I remember correctly), so you can go through a roll in just over 7 seconds The only downside to this camera is the autofocus. It is first generation and not great, it will hunt for focus a lot, especially if you try shooting moving objects (e.g. Remember to check for oily shutters, that is a common problem (read about it ). It can be fixed, but you risk damaging the shutter blades.
If you can get it cheap, it would be a good backup camera, and a chance to shoot FF if your digitial is a crop body like mine. I like mine, but would like one with a better autofocus. These old EOS film cameras still seem, for the most part, to work OK. Check things like foam deterioration, of course.
A few (the 5/A2e) had some mechanical problems like the selector knob, but most are working as well as they ever did. I have bought several of the very first generation (1987) -- the EOS 650 and the the EOS 620. I paid about US$30 for them plus shipping a year ago. They and other early EOS cameras I have (5 and 700) all work like new. I find them a little slower to focus than modern digital cameras, but not annoyingly so. The EOS 630 came out in 1989 and is supposed to be a little faster on AF than the earlier ones. The 630s (and 600) seem to go in the same price range.
I just looked at recent sales on eBay, and they have gone from $2.90 (yes) to around $30 to 70 (normal) depending on what is with them. One marked 'new' went for $144. Oh yeah, you can use manual focus just as you can on a digital camera, just switch the lens AF off. They don't have all the bells and whistles of the latest digital, but the OS is surprisingly close, by the 5 the program, etc. Selections are like those on the newer cameras. The 630 still has the mode button, like the 620, I think.
Hp Ubed Tukang Copet Yahoo. Like their digital descendants, these will also take a huge variety of 'foreign' mount lenses with adapters. Like the 5D and up, however, the mirror may not clear some lenses with rear projections that will work on the APS-C cameras. I am sort of half ashamed to say that one use of my old EOS film bodies is to try lenses out so if something were to go seriously wrong, it would take out a $30 camera instead of my 5D. So far nothing has broken them, but a few lenses have showed that they jam on the full-frame.
