Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! After reading your post I see that you are getting 'Firmware Corrupt Ready 2 Download' error message on HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw printer. I would like to help you out with this issue today.

Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, Next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it. I was able to temporarily resolve the issue by doing the following steps: • Uninstalled the printer driver from my computer. • Disconnected the Ethernet cable. • Preformed a reset of the printer. • Turned off the printer with the power switch • Waited 1 minute. • Powered up • Immediately pressed the lower right corner of the touch screen and held my finger on it until I saw the message “Permanent Storage Init” was displayed. • The error message went away and the screen was normal.

• Reconnected and reloaded the driver and firmware updates. This resolved it for the evening but returned the next morning and I was no longer able to reset the printer as described above until I disconnected the printer from the LAN and connected it using a USB cable and that I attached to a laptop. Right now everything seems to be working. I don’t k now if it will last. I reinstalled the firmware via the USB cable this time.
